About Us
Leighton Drive Your experienced van hire specialist
For over 15 years, the team at Leighton Drive has built a strong reputation as a leading van hire specialist, offering a large fleet of exclusive Leighton-upgraded Ford Transit Custom and new VW Transporter models, available as panel and kombi vans for daily and long term business hire.
Our Story
From Sheffield To Rotherham
We started out in the late 2000s on an industrial estate in Sheffield, selling new and used VW Transporters. It didn’t take long to spot a growing demand for our standard and customised vans as hire vehicles too, so we added rental to the mix.
Customisation soon became a big part of what we do, with upgrade packs designed for customers who want a more premium drive, extra performance, or the chance to try before they buy. As the business grew, so did our team, including our own in-house technical team dedicated to van upgrades and conversions.
In early 2017 we moved to our current home in Rotherham, and today our hire fleet includes the Ford Transit Custom and the new VW Transporter.
